This workshop is for parents of elementary age children who

  • Want to learn what accommodations to ask for and how to advocate for them effectively.
  • Are eager to create a supportive, sensory-inclusive environment where their child can thrive

WHAT AGE IS THIS WORKSHOP GEARED TOWARDS? 

  •  The strategies, scripts and examples I use will be relevant for kids in elementary school classrooms.

  •  No, please send them a link to purchase access to the workshop. 
  • You may share the zoom link/recording with a co-parent/spouse/primary caregiver in the family 

 

CAN I TAKE THIS WORKSHOP AS A THERAPIST OR EDUCATOR? 

Yes! All my content, examples and scripts are always centered around a parent's experience and pulls from examples around the home, but teachers and educators are welcome to join to learn some tips. 

CAN I EARN CREDITS FOR MY PROFESSIONAL CONTINUING ED? 

You will receive a 5 question assessment + certificate of attendance to redeem with your licensing/professional board for 1.0 contact hours.

Based on the 2024 NBCOT Certification Renewal Activities, this course falls under:

Activity 19: Successfully complete education (e.g., workshops, seminars, lectures, online courses, or conference) with an assessment component at the end of the program (e.g., scored test, project, paper).

Must include: A certificate of attendance or a letter from the provider verifying contact hours or CEU, date(s), event title, attendee name, agenda, and indicates successful completion of assessment component at the end of the program (e.g., scored test, project, paper).

Upon completing the workshop, you will be given a 5 question assessment. If you pass 80% of the assessment, you will receive a certificate of completion with the necessary information included.
